Pallas' cat (Octocolobus manul). This small cat is found in the rocky steppes of Asia,in a region stretching from the Caspian Sea through Central Asia into Tibet,Mongolia and China. It is a predatory carnivore,using its good eyesight to hunt small mammals such as mice,and also marmots and pikas. It usually hunts at night.
