Lynx. Close-up view of a lynx (Felis or Lynx lynx). A fully grown lynx has a body length of 80-130 cm and a body weight of 18 to 45 kg. It preys on rabbits,hares,birds and small deer. The lynx is usually most active after sundown when it hunts by ambushing its prey or by stalking its prey and then pouncing. It is found in the forests of Eastern Europe,Asia and North America.
