North American badger (Taxidea taxus). These animals have a shaggy coat of brown or grey fur with a white stripe on their forehead. When fully grown they can weigh up to 12 kg. These badgers live on grassland and plains where they hunt rodents,lizards,insects and young birds either by day or night. They are found in western and central USA.
