Bottlenose dolphin. (Tursiops truncatus). These dolphins are found in all of the world's seas with the exception of the polar oceans. They live in groups of around 10 to 15 individuals, but much larger groups have been recorded. Bottlenose dolphins commonly frolic around ships and seem to enjoy human company in the water, showing no fear. Their main prey is fish, which they catch during agile underwater chases | |
