Mountain gorilla (Gorilla gorilla beringei) feeding. The mountain gorilla is found in Africa,in the cloud forest habitat on the slopes of the Virunga volcanoes between Rwanda,Uganda and Zaire. Mountain gorillas have longer hair,larger jaws and shorter arms than lowland gorillas. Their diet consists mainly of roots,leaves and stems,supplemented by occasional fruit,fungi,and invertebrates.
