Brown mouse lemur (Microcebus rufus) sitting on a branch. This small lemur is endemic to rainforests on the eastern coast of Madagascar. It can reach lengths of 12 centimetres,with its tail being almost as long again. It spends the majority of its time in trees. It is nocturnal,feeding at night on fruit,leaves,insects and gum.
