Jackdaw (Corvus monedula). One of the smallest Corvids (genus containing crows and ravens),the jackdaw measures 34-39 cm in length. The plumage is black with silver cheeks and neck. Jackdaws are found across Europe,in north-west Africa,Iran,north-west India and Siberia. They in woodland or wooded steppes,cultivated land,coastal cliffs or towns.
