Tawny frogmouth (Podargus strigoides). This variety of frogmouth is found throughout Australia and prefers a habitat of open eucalyptus woodland. It hunts at night by waiting on a low perch for its prey. The tawny frogmouth is often camouflaged when hunting and uses its beak to catch its prey.
