Common gull (Larus canus). This coastal bird is found throughout the Northern Hemisphere. Its body length is around 40 centimetres. It mostly feeds on fish,but is also an opportunistic scavenger. It will also eat prey on land,such as mice and worms. Photographed in Greece | |
