Barnacle geese (Branta leucopsis) in flight. Barnacle geese are migratory birds found in coastal marshland in Greenland and the Arctic. In the winter,they migrate southwards to spend the season in northern Europe. They feed on vegetation,roots and seeds,growing to about 70 centimetres in length.
