Yellow-billed duck (Anas undulata) swimming. This duck is found throughout eastern and southern Africa. It inhabits lakes,swamps,marshes,coastal lagoons and estuaries. It feeds mainly in the evening and at night on terrestrial and aquatic plants,insects,crustaceans and seeds. It is a social bird,forming large flocks outside of the breeding season.
