Juvenile red-tailed tropicbird (Phaethon rubricauda) in its nest. This bird is found in coastal areas around the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It can grow to 45 centimetres in length. The female lays a single egg,which is incubated by both parents for between 40 and 50 days. Both parents also take it in turns to feed the nestling.
