Parson's chameleon (Calumma parsonii). This species of chameleon can grow up to 1 metre in length. It inhabits the forests of Madagascar,where its colouration serves as camouflage amongst the foliage. Like most chameleons,it can change colour according to its mood and environment. Colours can range from bright green with darker stripes,to blue,orange and yellow. This chameleon feeds mainly on insects,which are caught by a strike from its sticky tongue.
