Cutin de Quito frog (Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus). This frog is found throughout Colombia and Ecuador and is particularly common in the Quito area of Ecuador. It inhabits tropical and subtropical forests,rivers,shrublands and grasslands at high altitudes. It is currently (as of 2008) listed as a vulnerable species on the World Conservation Union (IUCN) Red List,meaning that it is likely to become endangered unless the circumstances threatening it improve.
