Sohal surgeonfish (Acanthurus sohal). This fish has a very sharp spike (orange) at the base of its tail,which is used to deter predators. It is found on coral reefs from the Red Sea to the Persian Gulf. The sohal surgeonfish feeds on algae from the reef tops and can reach up to 40 centimetres in length.
