Queen angelfish (Holacanthus ciliaris) swimming over a coral reef. This fish inhabits coral reefs in the tropical waters of the western Atlantic Ocean,from Florida,USA,to Brazil. It feeds mainly on sponges,although it also takes sea squirts and grazes on algae. It can reach a length of nearly 50 centimetres and over 1.5 kilograms in weight,and is taken as a food fish by local people.
