Pink anemone fish (Amphiprion perideraion) among the tentacles of its host, the magnificent sea anemone (Heteractis magnifica). This fish lives in a symbiotic (mutually beneficial) relationship with the anemone. Slime on the body of the fish prevents the stinging cells on the anemone from harming it. The pink anemone lives, lays its eggs and feeds under the protection of its host. The anemone in turn receives morsels of food discarded by the fish, and is cleaned of parasites.
