Fire engine control systems at the back of a fire engine. At lower centre are valves and gauges for controlling water pressure and the water flow into the hoses used to fight fires. At upper left is a control system for floodlights. At upper right are buttons and switches for a foam pumping system. Foam is used to smother liquid fires such as burning petrol. Water would help to spread the fire. Photographed in London,England | |
