It is showing its inventor Dr. Jeremy Burroughes,the director of technical development at Cambridge Display Technology,Cambridge,England. LEPS are polymers which emit light when a voltage is set up across them. They are flexible and easy to manufacture and can be chemically tailored to produce light of any wavelength. LEP displays unlike liquid crystal displays can be viewed from any angle. Laptop computers,video wrist watches and toys are all possible applications for LEPs | |
