Apollo 12 lunar landing. Astronaut during the first of two ExtraVehicular Activities (EVA) perf- ormed during the Apollo 12 mission (19-24 November 1969),the second manned Moon landing. The astron- aut stands by the lunar module's Modular Equipment Stowage Assembly,whilst the Apollo Lunar Hand Tools carrier stands on the ground behind him. An S-band communications antenna is at right. Apollo 12 arrived on the Moon in the Ocean of Storms on 19 November 1969. Charles Conrad & Alan Bean made two excursions on the surface for a total of 7 hours 45 minutes.
