Hubble Space Telescope mission control. Overview of the Mission Operations Room (MOR) for the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center,Maryland. The MOR is used to monitor and control all activities relating to the orbiting telescope,including observations and pointing,general engineering and orbit control. The health of the HST is constantly monitored to ensure as much observing time as possible. Computers on the HST may even be reprogrammed from the MOR.
