Spiral galaxy NGC 300 (C70,Caldwell 70),Spitzer Space Telescope (SST) image. The SST views objects in infrared light, allowing the main stars (blue) to be distinguished from the dusty spiral arms (red). The stars are concentrated in the central bulge. The other colours (orange and green) show other infrared wavelengths. Spiral galaxy NGC 300 is 7.5 million light years away from Earth in the constellation Sculptor.
