Galaxy M90. Optical image of M90 (NGC 4569) a spiral galaxy that lies around 30 million light years away in the constellation Virgo. It is part of the huge Coma-Virgo cluster of galaxies,which occupies a region between 20 and 70 million light years away in this direction. It is similar in size to our own Milky Way galaxy,which is around 120,000 light years across.
