Capricornus constellation. This faint constellation is best seen in summer in the northern hemisphere. It is one of the faintest of the zodiacal constellations, the ones through which the Sun passes each year. Its brightest star,Deneb Algedi (Delta Capricorni) is at upper left. The bright star at bottom left is Aldhanab (Gamma Gruis),in the nearby constellation Grus, the crane, while the two bright stars at upper centre left and centre right are Beta Aquarii and Epsilon Aquarii respectively,in neighbouring Aquarius, the water bearer | |
