Visible light image of Nereid,the outermost moon of Neptune and the second to be discovered. The image was made by the Voyager 2 spacecraft on 24 August 1989 at a distance of 4.7 million km. Resolution is 43km per pixel. Nereid is about 340km in diameter and has a surface reflectance of 12%.
