Hale Crater. Mars Express perspective view of the impact crater Hale on Mars. The central peaks are at lower centre,and the circular walls of the crater are partially seen across top and at right. The structures formed after an asteroid impacted the Martian surface. The terraced area at right is where part of the crater walls have collapsed and moved downwards. This view looks west.
