A 90cm Cassegrain telescope at the Royal Observat- ory in Edinburgh,Scotland. The telescope,which is no longer in use,was installed in 1928; the manually-operated dome was inaugurated in 1894. This reflecting telescope was used for almost 50 years to obtain thousands of star spectra with the spectrograph seen at extreme bottom right.
