Beauty perception. Composite computer image of the faces of 8 Afro-Caribbean fashion models. This image is one of four illustrating attractiveness in models. Eight faces of black models, taken from fashion magazines and including supermodel Naomi Campbell, were combined by computer to show an "average" Afro-Caribbean model's face. This image was then combined with composite pictures of a Japanese model's face (P870/088) and a Caucasian model's face (P870/089) to produce a composite,multi-cultural model's face (P870/090). The images are part of work in which scientists concluded that beautiful faces do not have average features | |
