| Prostate gland. Computer artwork of a section through the human prostate gland and it's enclosed urethra. The prostate is a large gland that surrounds the neck of the bladder in men and produces most of the fluid in semen. It consists of glandular tissue embedded in a matrix of fibromuscular cells (orange and black). At upper centre (blue) is the prostatic urethra.
