Equipment used in the monitoring of blood glucose, including a reagent strip chart (at top); Reflolux glucose meter; and yellow lancet used to prick the finger to extract blood. A drop of blood placed on a test strip is being inserted into the Reflolux meter for a reading. The chart is from the BM Test 1-44 which measures blood glucose from 1-44 mmol per litre by colour change from yellow to black, white to dark blue.
