MODEL RELEASED. Physiotherapy. Female physiotherapist carries out McKenzie mobilization on a female patient. The therapist gently clasps the patient's chin and tilts the patient's head forward. This is done to retract the uppermost part of the spine (cervical spine). McKenzie mobilization is a mechanical method of treating pain and other symptoms. The therapist will manipulate the patient's body in order to centralize the pain and abolish it. Once this is done the patient can be taught simple exercises to address the pain and shown correct postures to prevent it | |
