An aneurysm is a weakening in an arterial wall that becomes filled with blood and balloons out. This swelling was where the aorta,the body's main artery,meets the iliac arteries that carry blood into each leg. The artificial blood vessel's larger tube links to the aorta,while the two smaller tubes join onto the iliac arteries. An aneurysm may be due to disease,injury or a congenital defect.
