Heroin addiction: syringe used to inject heroin. Heroin (diacetyl morphine) is a white powder. In order to be taken,it is dissolved in water and taken into a syringe. The user will often take some blood into the syringe to help mix the solution before it is injected. Heroin is an opiate analgesic drug which induces stupor and narcotic sleep states.
