Claw-hand. Contracted fingers (claw-hand) in an adult. This was caused by the ulnar nerve, one of the major nerves of the arm, becoming trapped. Claw-hand is a deformity of the hand characterised by permanently curled fingers. Treatment may include repairing the damaged nerve. If this is not possible, splints can be used to hold the fingers straight; or one of the tendons in the wrist may be cut allowing the fingers to straighten | |
