| Pinned wrist fracture. X-ray of a patient's fractured wrist fixed with a metal pin. After realignment,the two parts of the broken scaphoid bone are being held together using a pin (white,upper centre). Movement of the wrist is being prevented by a K-wire (white rod) which has been inserted through the wrist. At left,the ends of two bones of the forearm,the radius and smaller ulna,are seen.
