MODEL RELEASED. Swollen lip of a 79 year old man caused by angioedema (angioneurotic oedema). This is an allergic reaction characterised by the swelling of soft tissue in the lips,mouth,larynx and other areas. The most common cause is a sudden allergic reaction to certain foods,such as strawberries or seafood. Less common causes include drugs,insect bites and pollen.
