Spider naevus (telangiectatic angioma) on a patient's skin. This mark is a discoloured patch of skin with a raised central red spot surrounded by radiating red 'legs'. It is a dilated arteriole surrounded by its connecting capillaries. Single spider naevi are found on the face,trunk and limbs in healthy children and adults. They may enlarge during pregnancy.
