A lymphangiogram is conducted by injecting a radio-opaque liquid dye into the lymph system through the feet. The fluid travels through the lymph system and remains visible by X-ray for between six months and two years. Hodgkin's disease is a malignant (cancerous) growth of cells in the lymph system. It is treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy. If the disease is detected early a complete cure may be possible
