Syringoma. Image 1 of 2. Close-up of a syringoma on a patient's ear. A syringoma (appearing as several yellowish raised papules here) is a tumour of sweat glands in the skin. Syringomas are generally benign, but they may turn malignant if they are left untreated. Surgical removal of the affected area is the usual treatment.
