Dame Kathleen Ollerenshaw (b.1912),British mathematician. Ollerenshaw was educated at Somerville College,Oxford,graduating in 1934 and gaining her doctorate in 1945. In mathematics,Ollerenshaw has published many works on the theory of magic squares and pandiagonal squares; these are square matrices of numbers which produce the same sum when added along any vertical,horizontal or diagonal line.
