Johann Jakob Brucker (1696-1770),German church minister and historian of philosophy. He worked as a church minister in Kaufbeuren,and then in Augsburg at the church of St Ulrich. He gathered and published much material on the history of ideas,and was elected a member of the Academy of Sciences in Berlin in 1731.
