Celtic pot reconstruction. Archaeologist reconstr- ucting a fragmented bronze Celtic pot. There is a microscope and an X-ray of the pot before excavation (upper left). The pot,in a grave at Glauberg near Frankfurt in Germany, was crushed as the grave collapsed. Also in the grave of the druid nobleman were gold items that have shown that the Celts were better goldsmiths than their Roman contemporaries. The buried man has been named the Glauberg Giant due to his size. The Celts dominated western and central Europe during the first millennium B.C.
