Carbon monoxide (CO) indicator (by Shawcity) which detects CO in concentrations ranging from 0-1999 parts per million. One use of the indicator is to detect for the presence of CO in the flue gas products of gas,oil & coal fired boilers, which indicates incorrect burner operation (insufficient oxygen is reaching the fuel for its complete combustion to carbon dioxide). Another use, important in safety precaution,is to assess CO spillage from gas fired appliances into living areas. CO is a colourless odourless gas that can result in death if even quite small amounts are inhaled | |
