Coral reef rehabilitation. Ceramic structures anchored onto damaged a coral reef. These ceramic modules are designed to mimic branching coral colonies. They serve to provide immediate shelter for coral fish inhabiting damaged coral reefs. Over time, corals and other reef organisms gradually overgrow the modules, establishing a natural reef habitat once again. Photographed in Bunaken National Park,North Sulawesi,Indonesia | |
