This image was photographed from the International Space Station (ISS) at an orbiting altitude of 370 kilometres. The main feature of the range is Dhaulagiri (upper left),the seventh highest mountain in the world at a height of 8172 metres. The Tibetan Plateau in China is seen in the foreground.
