Fossilised Chirotherium footprints. Chirotherium (Ichnium Sphaerodactylum) was a four-footed,3 metre-long reptile that lived around 200 million years ago. A skeleton of the extinct animal has never been found; everything we know about it has been deduced from fossilised footprints.
