Replanting a broadleaf woodland. This area was clear-felled of a 1970s conifer plantation and replanted with native broadleaved trees. Young trees have been planted in plastic tubes to deter rabbit and deer damage. There will be no age difference in this wood for many decades as there would be in an older more natural wood.
