The Lesser Honeyguide (indicator minor) is bigamous, having more than one mate. Laying its eggs in the nest of another bird,it uses the the surrogate family to raise its chicks. The honeyguide chicks kill the hatchlings of the host using needle-sharp beaks just after hatching, similar to cuckoo hatchlings.
