Draper's 28-inch telescope,19th century. This reflector telescope was operated by US physician and amateur astronomer Henry Draper (1837-1882) at his observatory at Hastings-on-Hudson,New York,USA. It has an equatorial mount,and two smaller telescopes attached (12-inch achromatic and 5-inch finder). The installation of this 28-inch telescope (Cassegrain design) was completed in 1872.
