Dead dolphin. Carcass of a half eaten short-beaked common dolphin (Delphinus delphis) floating on the surface of the sea. Short-beaked common dolphins are found throughout the world in temperate and warm seas. They usually live in groups (or pods) of up to 100 individuals,but much larger groups are known to exist.
